Hot on the heels of their acclaimed production of “Shrek the Musical”, Barnstaple Musical Comedy and Dramatic Society are ready to rock the house with their latest production, “School of Rock: The Musical”, based on the classic film starring Jack Black.

The story follows Dewey Finn, a down on his luck rocker. In a desperate bid to get some cash, Dewey pretends to be his best friend, and becomes a substitute teacher at the prestigious Horace Green Prep School. Once there, Dewey discovers his class are full of musical talents, and sets out to start a new rock band with the kids.

Featuring new songs such as “You’re In The Band” and “Stick It To The Man”, as well as the hit songs from original movie, this production will be sure to have you rockin’ out with the band!

And yes, the kids in the band will all be playing LIVE!
