Summer has arrived! The Landmark Theatre in Ilfracombe and Queen’s Theatre in Barnstaple have now launched their Summer Season of shows. The new Summer Season brochure has also just landed, listing a wide range of exciting performances taking place at the venues from June to September.
Highlights of this year’s Summer Season include big names in comedy like Jimmy Carr and Jenny Eclair, a spectacular performance of Footloose The Musical starring Darren Day and Jake Quickenden, an array of family shows plus so much more with both professional tours and local community productions. This year we are thrilled to also be introducing a brand new annual festival in conjunction with Paines Plough that will showcase new UK writing.
A spokesperson for the theatres said: “We are always delighted to launch a new season, and the Summer Season is filled with really wonderful productions. We very much appreciate our supportive audiences here in North Devon, and invite everyone to pick up a brochure or visit our website to see what’s on. We are excited to be starting the new Roundabout festival with Paines Plough and are really looking forward to welcoming the new works with their touring pop-up theatre”.
